PGD TechnologyInfertilityInherited Genetic DiseaseFor Professionals

PGD may be recommended by your physician when there is a possibility, indicated by your medical history or advanced maternal age, that your embryos could be affected by a genetic disease. Candidates for PGD may have one of the following infertility diagnoses and/or have a known or suspected family history of one of the inherited genetic disorders listed below. New tests are developing rapidly therefore we encourage you to call Dr. Kearns at 301-545-1209 if you have questions about a specific genetic disorder not found on these lists.
